I did a private lesson with Jamie, it was fantastic. I already feel more confident and in control riding the trails after my lesson. 100% recommend a private lesson with Jamie if you want to progress your skills.

Jamie took me for an amazing three hour ride in the Redwoods. We rode some great trails that were really fun. We also stopped at a beautiful viewpoint for some photos where you could see all of Rotorua, the Pohutu geyser, mud pools and the lake from. I had a great time! Thanks for the riding tips and showing me around!
I was a little unsure if having a mountain biking skills lesson would be worthwhile, but it was awesome!! My riding and confidence improved alot from just covering the basics with Jamie. Am definitely going back for another one. Couldn't reccomend it more.
A group of us attending a MTB training course run by Jamie and overall it was AWESOME - great engagement, timely, well paced! Jamie did a great job at gauging the level of the group and then progressing us throughout the session - at the end we were all better equiped to take on the trails! Definitely looking at booking some follow up sessions
We had a fantastic day heli mountain biking with Christy (our New Zealand Mountain Biking guide). The Moerangi track was a beautiful grade 3 - 4 trip. Loved the wildlife, track, heli trip, guide and the sandwich was next level. I certainly recommend this trip and company to anyone who is in the north island of NZ and wants a cool mountain biking adventure. Best ever!!
The team at NZ Mountain Biking took our Yr 12 Outdoor Education class for an awesome ride in the Redwoods in Rotorua. Everything was really well organised including bike hire. Great teaching of skill and technique, awesome trail selection, and fantastic positive and motivating attitudes. Thanks heaps Jamie and Christy! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to take a school or family group out for a ride!
This was a fabulous 3 days for us. I came to this trip brand new mountain biking. I'm a 64 year old runner. My 70 year young travel partner has a lot of motocross experience but was new to this sport as well. I found it challenging and extremely rewarding. I could not have done it without the help of our amazing guide and new friend, Mike Dawson. He was patient and positive. Mike knew the forest and trails like Tarzan! The scenery was spectacular. Exploring places that a lot of Kiwis have not seen. We stayed in the group house for two nights ( it was comfortable and fun) and night at the Timber Lodge ( very cool and wow food!) These guides, Christy and Mike would not let us lift a finger. They worked from early morning past dinner taking care of us. Cooking, loading bikes, getting lunches prepared, serving dinner and drinks. Go on this trip! This team is young and service oriented. It is not to be missed.
Great group. Awesome trails, local knowledge and excellent organization. Highly recommended. Jamie, Christie and Mike great fun and helpful guides. Great variety of different riding on offer.
