Took the family to surf and turf restaurant in my home town Ruakaka had a wonderful meal in pleasant surroundings chef Warren served us delicious food cooked exactly how we wanted it. The restaurant which is part of the Ruakaka Tavern although operating kind of on its own was quiet so I suggest all locals call in and have a great meal and take the kids who are catered for on the menu and enjoy. And if you're driving past on state highway one turn onto Port Marsden road go past the shopping center next left and you are there. And as I always say you will be made to feel most welcome
Great place. Service was good and Courtesy van great but needed more seats in van as i had to sit in the "boot". Five pax.
The Asian Fusion menu is amazing, highly recommend the Sashimi platter. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Relaxed vibe, great pricing... recommended.

Went there to vet on the Melbourne cup. Had one beer whilst marking card. Tab lady helped me do bet as not a regular horsey person. I hear the food there is great. Can't wait to try them out
