So so interesting. Well worth doing the tour. Great guide.
Fantastic guide through this historical building. Thank you Julie for your knowledge and fun. Really worth a visit
Beautiful heritage, lovely coffee and croissant from cafe within the area.
Good local childrens day, Grandchildren enjoyed the day
Thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour and the garden is beautifully maintained. Love the coffee and the pastries, especially the custard slice.
To really experience this museum you must take a tour, which run 5 times daily. Our guide, Kirsty was very knowledgable about local history but where she really excelled was in her description of early printing techniques and leather production. In fact leather is still made at the museum using cow’s urine and local bark, and all the guides are expert in this. It is possible to see the gardens and a small part of the museum without a tour if the tours are all full.
Fantastic place. Looks well maintained. But I don't think kiwis should have to pay to go inside!... we own it.
