We had an infinity hot water system and then soon after kitchen renovation. Semtex have been great to work with along the way. Delays and postpones from our end were never an issue. When we told them of an issue at our end they put it right. Highy recommended.

Me and my partner had an issue with our gas fire place where it would light but would flame out pretty quickly. My partner got Semtex in to have a look at the fire place. We were charged 260 for an initial visit and some paperwork. I thought this was pretty steep, but accepted this was the price. After this they quoted 750 for replacement parts and labour to fix the actual problem. Given how expensive this quote was, we decided to get another plumber in to give us a comparison. This other plumber straight up said that Semtex's diagnosis was completely wrong. In the end the fire place only required a good clean out and this new plumber charged us 98 to do so. Not only was this 650 cheaper than Semtex's quote, but it was also 160 cheaper than Semtex's initial visit where minus a little paperwork, the same stuff was carried out (plus he also fixed the issue in that time). Semtex's quote in my opinion is daylight robbery! I personally will not consider them for any future work, nor would I ever recommend them to any one.
