Great views, not too long a walk to get there!

Great little Lookout, from carpark only about a minutes walk. Two different platforms to choose from. Great views.

Awesome views, well worth the walk or drive up! Previous reviews said road was sketchy so we opted to walk. Trail criss-crosses road a few times and was a nice walk but the road is fine. Not too narrow, well graded, and I counted four different allocated parking “lots”. Wouldn’t take a massive RV up the hill but anything smaller will be fine. Drove back for sunrise and was pleased to find the gate at the bottom open. Not sure if they ever close it as I couldn’t find anything online...

Amazing views at the top of the cliff, and the walk from the road is fantastic, giving panoramic views of the bay from different angles as you get higher and higher. Quite a few stairs, but not a huge amount. Definitely worth the walk!

Beautiful views towards Whitianga, Ferry Landing, Mercury Islands, Lonely Bay and Cooks Beach. Can drive up (5 min) along narrow & steep gravel road to a small parking area (only space for maybe 4-5 cars). A short path leads to the lookouts. Toilet available near parking area. Walking trails to Lonely Bay & Cooks Beach, but not sure how long it takes as no maps, just signposts. History/information signs at the lookout quite interesting.

Worth having a look. A steep gravel road but quite an easy ride ( I have a normal bike)or slow drive

I never went here, but went to Lonely Bay... which is just down the cliffside, and that was nice.

BEAUTIFUL! Highly reccommend walking from the base at either Flaxmill Bay or Cooks Beach. Stunning views, and a great walk!
