We are so thankful that we got to stay at SkyScape! Bridget and Bevan were both so kind and welcoming. We had such a peaceful stay, enjoyed the outdoor tub and the beautiful surroundings. It was a cloudy night so we couldn’t see the stars but we still had such a wonderful time and a very relaxing stay. Everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and there were so many thoughtful amenities.
Our stay at Skyscape was a dream come true. From the minute we drove onto the property and met Bevan and Bridget, we felt very welcomed and relaxed. The property itself is heaven on earth with every amenity and away from all the hustle of the city. We were refreshed with the beautiful surroundings and the house was 5 star with all the perfect amenities, including the stainless steel bathtub on the beautiful stone patio. And yes, I did take a bath in the middle of the sheep farm the morning we sadly had to leave. We also very much enjoyed the farm tour with Bevan and meeting Mike and admiring the ability of the sheep dogs to do their jobs of herding. What an incredible time we enjoyed there and hope to return and send many of our friends there for the same unique and beautiful experience. Thanks so much, Bevan and Bridget! We loved it and will be talking about this experience for a long time.
Astonishingly beautiful. I didn't have to worry about a thing. A phone is provided in case you need anything. The whole place is off the grid and very private. The soaking tub was amazing and I enjoyed it very much for a sunset soak overlooking the valley.
Probably one of the most beautiful and amazing places I've ever stayed in my life. SkyScape is a once in a lifetime experience, you will never see stars like this again in your life. Wonderful hospitality and great amenities. We will always remember our stay here. Would highly recommend.
Stunning place. Well away from any roads and other accommodations and the cabin has been built to very high quality. Communication with Bevan and Bridge was lovely, wish we could have stuck around longer.
An absulate must if you live in a big city and want to experience the complete opposite! The farm track (suitable for all vehicles) leads past high country station buildings and past a few Merino sheep to an area on the farm perfectly positioned to get endless views of the Mackenzie Basin. Once there you notice how well the 'off grid' Skyscape building blends into the surrounding landscape. The whole building is dug in a little bit with half the building having an earth/grass roof whilst the other half has a spectacular glass roof. Obviously designed to be able to watch the night sky from your bed (which is cunningly designed to be at ground level) it is one of the best locations in the world to see the milky way and other wonders of the night sky. We were lucky enough to see the full Milky Way, Jupiter and a few shooting stars!!! This so much more than a nights accommodation - it is the full experience. Well done Bridget and Bevan for thinking outside of the square and building this.
Every detail to this accommodation is spectacular. It's been built with a lot of thought. Our experience has been magical. The highlight for us, outdoor bath!
