Last campsite before the road turned to Milford. Spacious place. A creek running at the end of the site. No power available.

Hidden gem and must place to stop and look around. Gorgeous blooms and magnificent valley view.

Huge campsite with a creek at the end. Lots of spaces for both tents and campervans. Has clean toilets and water tanks. No dump station though. Stayed for a night. Loved it. It's the last campsite, an hour away from the Milford sound cruises, convenient to access other hikes and view points. Good location to stay if spending more than a night in Milford Sound.

Good DOC campsite with clean drop-toilets and shelters. great location to explore the Milford Sounds area. Our campspot was riddled with stones and it took some time to get the tent up - but at least we had the company of a million sandflies.

Many years ago it was the site of the Cascade Creek Motor Inn complete with lodgings for both Staff and Guests, restaurant, souvenir shop, bar and was powered by its own Hydro Scheme up the Cascade Creek. Mother nature took the land back in the early 90s with a large slip and flooding and was never rebuilt. Some of the buildings were relocated to TeAnau where they are still in use.

Really beautiful place to stay by the creek with mountain views. The toilets can be cleaner. But it is the closest camp to Milford Sound so to stay here would be worth it anyway. DOC does a really good job to keep this area clean.

The site of the historic settlement of Cascade Creek founded in the 1930s until the 1990s Floods, that even had a novel written about it in Jean Bennett's Below The Mountains
