I consulted Specsavers at the Windmill Centre for my previous (and first) prescription for reading glasses. Finally needing something stronger I went straight back and was tested and fitted with new spectacles on a two-for-one special. Unfortunately, whilst very good at work, I found the occupational lenses they'd helped me chooseunsuitable for general reading at home, and so I took one pair back and requested that the lenses be exchanged for regular non-progressive reading lenses. This was accomplished promptly and at no charge. It is not possible to fault the service at Specsavers Windmill Centre, and they have earned my loyalty.

My brother( stuck in Chch from overseas), went to this place yesterday from the East side of town, and due to walking, bus catching and walking was 10 minutes late for his appointment. He just wanted to replace a custom made pair of sunglasses he had lost. They were from here. Same prescription as before. But oh no! Late so they cancelled his appointment. Could not get another whatever branch he tried in the vicinity. Come on! Where is the humanity in people. No squeeze room or a gap! I don't want to believe that. Are we machines now.? I know it is a business but you have lost a customer for life. And his immediate family who all deal with you when in NZ. What a shame

Rude pushy staff who overcharged and sold someone who couldn't see things she didn't need. We booked at half price eye exams and was charged full price. And when I questioned it they ignored me

Got new glasses from the Riccarton branch. Had a problem with the frames I selected so had to select different frames. Got the call that the glasses were ready, and blow me, the frames were the origonal ones I ordered. As the other set I had selected was on order, I was offered these at a GREATLY reduced price. Good job Riccarton staff
