Our first stay at Starship Children's Hospital was a pleasant one. My youngest son had appendicitis to our surprise as he had severe stomach cramps and we were referred there late at night after going to A & E, North Shore. He was seen by a Dr and had bloods taken whom confirmed his appendix was the cause of his pain. We were then admitted up to the children's ward and with all the general wards being filled we received a private ward and I got my own pull out bed, which I was very happy about. The care and support we received from the time we arrived to the time we left was amazing and it being our first hospital admission and for any parent who is worried and stressed about their child being taken care of it made us feel very safe and supported. Thank You so much too all the staff

Nurses and staff doing their part are awesome, however I had a altercation with security due to broken english.. I had to repeat myself 3-4 times and as to himself had to repeat himself over cause I couldnt understand (frustration started to show) after no understanding was made I then took actions into my own hands and had my other half meet me as to where I needed to be with the annoyance of him now following me around.. over all was very hard to understand him being on the after hours information desk..

Been there last week as people said it is way better than Waitakere. Let me be straight: there are more patients at Starship and the treatment was slightly better. If you are living close by, come here

Went to startship hospital yesterday with my daughter for her broken arm and I can't thank them enough for their work. People were super polite, caring and professional . I was so impressed with everything . THANK YOU
