Beautiful camp ground set amongst native bush by the river. Facilities were clean and tidy, and there are lots of trees for shade from the heat. We rented in the area where dogs are allowed and it was lovely and quiet. Reasonable prices too and the hosts were really friendly and helpful :)

Love the Ashley gorge ,we went there for a picnic with our dog ,sat at the gorge while doggie played in the water, beautiful scenery and you can walk along some walks, my husband left his cell there and some kind person handed it in, so kind

A well groomed camp, excellent facilities. It’s tucked away into the crook of the backcountry foothills - breathtaking views. Only 40 minutes from Christchurch, which feels like a world away when you are there. *tip: book a cabin during a mild winter weekend with your small family and it’s a good chance you will score paradise to yourselves.

Amazing place, great for family outings...bring your own picnics...photographic scenery...great for river sports and swimming.... Wee park for kids Great outdoor adventures Perfect place to get the family out and about! Toilets and changing rooms available (Toilet's were grubby, could do with a good scrub and spray....wear slip slops)

Great safe family holiday park that's well maintained by the dedicated owners. Good offering of walking tracks to, mostly not for your dogs though unfortunately. Awesome swimming hole for those that are keep for a fresh water dip. Not to far from oxford if you need to grab a few supplies while camping. Can get a bit busy on a sweaty Canterbury day but still worth a visit to cool yourself down.

Limited cabins, plenty of tent sites. Toilet block is clean. Limited pots and pans and no utensils in kitchen. 6 tables that seat 4 each in the dining area. River is great. Suitable for young kids. TV room is big for the wet days.

3rd time staying here. Lovely park like surroundings. Nice showers (pay extra) and friendly staff.
