My partner and I found this place by a fluke and what an awesome little gem! We came here for a fishing trip and man is the location spot on with not just fishing but heaps more to explore and do. The owner went well above our expectations and what a great fellow to have a chat with. If you want to get away and find things to do VERY CLOSE BY then this simple, clean, comfortable and very affordable location is my first choice and hopefully yours too!

This is very good place, clean and comfortable. You find everything what they mentioned on the description of the utilities. Calm. Green. Blue. A lot of plants around the place. Maybe 20 minutes walk is playground, cafes. The Manager of the motel is professional - helped to find us all needs we had. Thank you for wonder time at your place.
Strongly recommended Close to beach , beautiful view Clean tidy room good equipment in kitchen , like coffee machine , BBQ etc . Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Good services and staff attitude. We came from auckland for 4 days trip and stayed in Tairua shore motel. Perfectly for The family trip , next time we should bring our kayak and fishing rod and maybe bicycle as well. :) Sarah
Well equipped and comfortable, great reception, very helpful. About 20 minutes to Hot Water Beach, a little further to Cathedral Cove and Cooks beach. The inlet behind the motel is a lovely spot and convenient for the little ferry, lots of people swam there and used paddle boards etc. Perfect for us.
