Such a great place and so much to see ans do, most of it is interactive e.g. you can have a go or play with the stuff there, id fully recommend it to anyone passing through.

So much stuff from the past and so many categories covered. It is very interesting to see how things have changed over the years. The museum covers transportation, agriculture, communication, aviation, household and much more. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Good stop. Google New Plymouth attractions, and you will NOT find this listed, which is a pity. It name is a bit misleading because aviation is somewhat limited. It has a lonely rotary engine NZDF trainer airplane. From the outside it looks like a series of sheds, but incredible variety. Honestly some of the displays look dangerous, so probably shouldn't take kids under 6.

Absolutely fantastic, there's no need to rush through, take your time and see everything on display,
