All that is the best in a spiritually driven retreat centre staffed by a devoted family and a team of ever enthusiastic woofers. The Sanctuary is a truly special meditation space. The gardens and grounds produce much of the food served. Accommodation is varied from bunk rooms to cottages and all are cosy. Log burners to gaze into. Endless herbal teas. Gorgeous views of Tauhara and lake Taupo. You won't want to leave.

The Tauhara Centre is an amazing, inspirational and peaceful place. I volunteered at the Centre for a couple of weeks, and I can honestly say that those weeks changed me. Tristan, Steven & Catherine, Gilma, Bridget, Kieron and the rest of the team: thank you for the amazing time I had! Hope to see you again. x
