Richard and Bonnie are wonderful, they really love dogs and Monet, our briard, loves going to stay with them. In fact he can't wait to say goodbye to us as he rushes into the kennel. In summer he loves playing in the water pools in the yard and comes home smelling sweet after his bath. Thank you guys for being so fabulous, we totally recommend Taupo Pet Lodge as a caring home away from home. Liz and Russell Shaw

Wonderful pet hotel. Rich was very friendly and extremely reassuring. You can tell he truly loves dogs! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our Puppy. The photos you post on FB are awesome and helped us enjoy our trip too. We will be back and highly recommend to everyone!

It was our first time ever using a kennel service for our puppy. Richard phoned me and went over all of my concerns patiently and reassuringly. Our puppy (reluctantly) came home tired. If he could have stayed longer, he would have. He really enjoyed his weekend away!
An amazing place to leave our dog while we went away. Richard genuinely loves the dogs and Kiba was well looked after. Even had a bath the morning we were due to pick her up. A clean and high standard facility, would totally recommend.

Needed a place near Taupo to care for our puppy for a few days while we attended a wedding. The owner was very professional. Ensured our dog was fully vaccinated before letting him out of the car. This gave me comfort that if he did it for us, they do it for all the dogs. My puppy really enjoyed his time there, and we got to see daily photos posted to the kennels facebook page which was great. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to let people know about the photos. I only found out by chance when I was telling someone where my puppy was staying and looked them up on facebook.
