Love this place. I travel to Taupo for it from Hastings when I crave really good fish n chips. I love their fish always fresh for me, their coleslaw, chicken burger and chips. Beautiful to go to Rainbow Point for fish n chips with the sunsetting on the lake.

The food was fresh, crispy but not too oily. If you want extra greasy fish and chips, this is not the place for you. There is an additional 1 dollar surcharge for ordering and paying online which you don’t find out about until the checkout. I was happy to pay considering the great value and portion sizing.

I first tried these takeaways a year and a half ago after a Rugby trip. I ate in my Ute outside and was blown away how yummy the fish, chips and burger was and so was my son ! I come back past with the rest of my family and it’s still just as yummy. In my mind there the best fish and chips, and no one else comes close. I’ll always make sure I stop there and eat there food any time I’m passing. Very nice people too !! Thanks

Great variety, friendly and quick service. Our meal was ready quickly and the overall quality was good (we even got a few bonus items in our family pack). Special mention of the deep fried Camembert - delicious Although I didn't use it, they also have and online ordering option which would be super convenient in future.

The best fish and chips in Taupo and good positions not bad prices either. It looks very clean and the staff are very friendly. Our NZMCA in Taupo always buy fish and chips from there when having a really in Taupo that includes a fish and chip night Always well cooked, hot and delicious.
