Good place to try starters and mains in Tauranga. Enjoyed their Non-Veg Banquet. However, non vegeterian's prefer to have all 3 non-veg curries, instead of adding on 1 Veg curry in Non Veg Banquet. Other than that.. Everything is fine. Good service by staff...

We had a short trip to Tauranga few weeks ago and I would like to share my experience with great spice restaurant was fantastic. We had a great time with my family and friends. Very friendly staff and delicious food, definitely worth it. Happy to go back again.

This place is the best Indian restaurant in Tauranga! I have tried them all, so I can say this with certainty. The staff are also excellent, this place punches well above it's weight. You will not get better Indian food in the Bay of Plenty. If you get a chance to visit, I highly recommend it.

This place is outstanding. I have been to many restaurants in the UK. The home of a beer and curry. The Great Spice knocks them out of the field. I have been here many times. I have experienced the vast menu I can not find a fault with the food. Now let’s talk about the team excellent service, always made to feel welcome, fantastic people. All I can say is get down the the Great Spice Bureta you will never regret it.

Ambience is extremely good. Soft Indian music is played in the background. A lot of combos are available to choose from which is comparatively cheap. Take away is available which is an even cheaper option. Its a bar attached restaurant next to a countdown. Restaurant manager and other staff are friendly. Try butter chicken with naan or a smoked chicken biriyani.

We had a lunch in this restaurant with my kiwi friends. They absolutely loved the food and ambience of this restaurant. And Service staff were incredibly customer oriented, they looked after us well. Great spice with great food and service. Definitely will comeback

I was blown away by the incredible service here! The staff were lovely and helpful. My partner and I ordered a chicken korma and a lamb korma- they were creamy and flavourful! The cheesy garlic naan was fresh and very cheesy. The restaurant was also very beautiful, clean and had great ambiance. I will be recommending this to anyone who comes to the area!
