Having been to 4 different schools in New Zealand since 2013, I can say I was lucky enough to be trained by some of the top people in the industry. Chris Connolly, Swanny, Ruban and now Darrel. Each instructor has different styles in teaching and I found Darrel to be a very gentle and caring person to his students (gotta say his patience is extraordinary compared to some instructors and that's what I like about him). He will encourage you to be the best version of yourself! There's never a dull day when we are training at the hill and everyone treats and take care of each other like family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! Im training with him right now and thoroughly enjoying his excellent teaching style. His equipment is first class and the sites are fantastic and safe. I was discouraged by the comments of another feedback "steve" but later found out "steve" was just bitter for expecting a tandem flight on a day where it was unsafe to do so, and i applaud Darrells decision not to fly on that occasion. Darrell is very encouraging and has helped me get comfortable in what i thought would be a scary sport, but its not, if you have good gear and good instruction its EXTREMELY FUN :0) so give it a go.
