Visited this place for dinner after reading all of the good reviews and was not disappointed! The staff member was very friendly, the pork ramen was amazing and the atmosphere was great. (Good music too!) Will definitely be back the next time we visit Tauranga. Highly recommended.

Gang decided to have some quick fix after basketball game in Tauranga. Loved the chicken karaage.Tantan ramen fits the crisp autumn weather and totally warms you after a slurp. Butter corn ramen was really hearty and rich. Generous servings.I ordered creamy mango drink but was half full of ice,gone after 4 sips.wish they lessened the ice and put more of the drink. Nonetheless,we enjoyed dinner before returning to Rotorua. Happy customers!

It was amazing and really tasty. The wife is Japanese born and raised, she loved it. She said the Ramen was at the same level as you get in Japan. High standards. Highly recommend and will be coming again when in the Tauranga area.

Love their miso taste ramen and kumamoto ramen. Chicken karage (fried chicken ) is also recommended. It's the best ramen so far I try in NZ.

What an incredible find! Probably the best bowl of ramen I’ve ever had. I got the miso one with pork and it was heaven in a bowl. Umami delight! The place was jammed and the two ladies working were running hard to keep up with demand. But the wait was most worthwhile as we were rewarded with a savory and satisfying meal.

This is very nice Japanese restaurant. They make nice noodles. It would be extra great if they could sell nice Japanese tap beer as well. Must be liquor license stopping them.
