Beautiful beaches, great place to walk around. Parking might be difficult in peak times. Good toilet blocks. No flags were set up for swimming. Tide is too strong for young children, sand is sucked away from feet. Best for strong swimmers and bougie boarding.

Insanely epic beach! Beautiful scenery, clear blue water, good surf, and occasionally even some friendly dolphins. Just expect to have to wash your car after coming here because the only access to this beach is along a very dusty gravel road. Very much worth it though!

Auckland Council parks dept are useless. There are no signs at all indicating where the walks start and their duration . The walks we found are mostly through gorse , with many rat and stoat traps along the way . There is a nice path that goes to Pakiri , this has lovely views of the coast and beach... Not the best of the regional parks . Auckland Council , you can do better...
