Great little place with a wealth of past history
Its a donation to go through and is very interesting and one of the lovely lady's will give you a wee tour its just so amazing how far this little town has come
Wonderful staff, lots of history
Sooooo interesting. I do NOT do museums but decided to make hubby's day by going through it with him. Well I totally enjoyed every room there. 5 admssion for a fun and interesting hour or so. Go and enjoy your past.
Beautiful scenery, especially with the autumn colours all around. Lovely walks to waterfalls and biking tracks for the adventurous souls.
An eclectic mixture of displays but well worth the visit. Take the time to check out the gardens also.
The te aroha was a nostalgic experience for me, it was a step back in time and I learnt a lot about the towns history from the helpful dvd the office lady played us when we arrived there. It was a only 5.00 to visit the museum and was happy with our experience. They have great memorabilia inside including a grandfather clock over 200 years old that still works today. It was pretty amazing to see.
