Nice clean rooms, we had no issues. Staff was friendly and helpful. 20 min walk to street with supermarket and some restaurants.

Nice and clean rooms. Well maintained. Reception area has books to read.Waitomo caves was 20 minute drive from this location. Kitchen is communal and has all the basic items to cook. Opposite the motel is big cafe and they won't disappoint. Next door are 2 fuel stations. There is a pub and lot of eating joints nearby however you have to check their closing times as they finish early.
Wonderful stay, a very well cared for lodge. Small accents and heart put in by the host is evident in everything from the reception to the kiwi and Maori slang in the welcome books. Animals are very adorable and friendly. Extremely clean and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
Hidden gem int he Waikato valley. I highly recommend this place, the room with had (with the spa) for 4 people was spotless clean.. And i am rather picky with cleanliness of places. All the four of us agreed that we had a fantastic sleep, the mattresses are really good quality. You can see the owner takes pride of running this business. The lady at the reception was lovely too and the price is really fair. For sure, I will be back if around the area. 5 out of 5 for us.
Enjoyed our stay! The room was large, the furniture was very comfortable and everything you could think of was provided. Could have easily stayed another night or two. Thanks so much :)

It's ok. Mattesses are old spring ones from the 90s, the place is made of lockwood so all night its creaking as it expands and contracts. The trains are also loud. Not the best sleeps. 12gb internet limit. Thought the traffic was noisy but it was the heat pump. Clean and tidy. Nice park across the road. Nice shower.
Nice place to stop, but not so quite as the road is busy all hours of the night ...
