Moderately sloping track down to the Memorial at a beautiful little cove. Spectacular scenery and fascinating history on well designed information boards. Very well kept and really shouldn’t be missed if you’re visiting Kerikeri. Access to the car park is over unsealed road so drive carefully!

Highly recommend. Quite a drive so I would pack a picnic some towels and togs and spend the day at the beach. The information plaques were very good, the grounds were immaculate and I found the audio guide very informative.
A beautiful spot at the end of a short walk through the Rangihoua heritage park. The info panels are also well maintained and very interesting for those wanting to learn about the area. A must see!
Good explanations of local history, lovely beach. Bit of a steep hill to walk back up.
Great little walk with excellent signs along the way telling the story of the relationship between Māori and the early missionaries. Spectacular views too.
Excellent history of the beginning of NZs formation when two cultures meet. Really a must for all Kiwis!
Very well prepared walk with a lot of information stations telling the story of first Euoropean mission settlers in NZ and their relations with Maori hosts.
Easy, well maintained track, short walk with history boards placed all around the track. Great views! This is where Samuel Marsden took the first church service in New Zealand.
