Great Thai food with reasonable pricing. We wanted to eat in as it was a warm day and the seating is only outdoors. The containers the food comes in (normal takeaway type) are not great to eat straight out of and the plastic fork/spoon is not great. It would be good if a paper plate was available if you want to eat there. Other than that highly recommended.

Was looking for something quick and light for lunch today while visiting Christchurch. Saw this little gem, and definitely don't regret stopping. Food was delicious and I also enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine listening to music. Will definitely be back to try a different dish

Super cool place, great locations and the team is very nice! The food was gone before I got the chance to take a photo!! Very delicious too.

Ordered spicy fried rice- no spice in it what so ever. Pad Thai is very bland, and massuman curry tasted like butter chicken and had barely any meat. Prices are more affordable than other curry joints but would rather pay the extra somewhere else for better quality.

Lovely little Thai place! The food is great and pretty decently priced’ the pad Thai and green curry was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Last time I went here they forgot one of the items in our order. This is a understandable mistake so I rang for a refund of this item (I was no longer nearby to get it replaced). The staff at the store cannot do refunds on site, only a store credit or they will replace the missed item (which is of no use when you've just driven across town to have dinner with family). This was not acceptable to me so I asked for a refund, they said a manager would call back 2 days later. 2 Days later, no call, so I followed up and again, they had let the manager know but the managed hadn't made contact, they promised to remind them and I should receive a call back tomorrow. Still no call back the next day, currently I am waiting for staff to escalate this to someone higher up. Frankly this is not good enough, the staff on site should be able to refund in this situation, currently Thai Container has charged me for a item that they did not deliver on and seem very reluctant to return that money to me. A mistake is fine, so long as you don't make that the customers problem! The only nice part about this whole experience is that the staff member was very apologetic and understanding of this whole issue, I wouldn't be surprised if they're as frustrated as I am.

I have been eating Thai food from Thai Container for 3 years now. I can not compare any other Thai takeaways to Thai Container.They are by far the best providers of Thai flavours. Jayda (the server) is always so happy and always greets you with a smile. She is very informative and always gives amazing service. Love visiting this place. Also amazing price value for the food you recieve!

Visited early evening. We ordered pad Thai chicken and spicy chicken with rice. Both came quickly, freshly cooked. Good sized portions. Both meals were delicious, especially the spicy chicken dish. We sat at the benches outside in the warm weather, it was very quiet when we were there. Great food, and with both dishes 7 NZ also excellent value. This place is well worth hunting out.
