I'm quite fussy with my slow cooked meats, so I was extremely happy when the lamb shanks I ordered were done to perfection. My partner got the smoked steak and said he will be looking for it on every menu from now on. There was a negative review on the wine choices and i have to say whata load of BS, the wine list was fantastic. They even have 4 diferent port options. Service was good, staff were friendly, food came out without much of a wait. I understand why everyone recommends to eat here, I have already recommended it to others
Best restaurant in Thames in my opinion.
Went for a Birthday dinner. Overall was a really good night. Food was good. Definitely worth the price which we paid. Only thing would be the customer service was lacking in some areas. The staff were obviously unexperienced so its understandable but small things like smiling faces are good customer service skills. Also only half our table was cleared after finishing dinner and they were left up until we received our dessert. Would recommend and am definitely keen on coming back in the future
I'm so sorry not sure why many a raving about the food obviously don't eat at many restaurants and probably think one 3 one in Paeroa is good too it isn't!! Was very very average and over priced for what it was. Presentation of the mains was very well done but that's all. wouldn't eat there again.
The dining experience was excellent. The food was in the top for flavour and presentation. The waitress was friendly and helpful and the dining atmosphere relaxing. Would definitely recommend and will be back when in Thames next
