I didn't go inside but it was fairly easy to find, across the road fro the Goldfields Mall. I saw the cannon first before the building itself. There are toilets and a water fountain beside the center. there was also a map in the window with Thames and the surrounding area.

The transit bus service to long distance travel from Thames. An excellent purveyor of information for tourists within the upper North Island,it also provides information for the lower N.I and South Island. A great stop to plan a journey
A good clean toilet when you need one. I also learnt something about a famous Thames raised person field marshall sir Keith park who was instrumental in the organisation of 'The Battle Of Britain'. A local person saw me looking and came over to offer me her personal account of him. I was treated. It turns out the person telling me this is a local historian and storyteller. Thank you.
Extremely helpful with my inquiries, super friendly too. Thanks so much ️
Try ringing this place, if they answer the phone, they're never helpful. The toilets around the corner are ok though.
Friendly staff and wide variety of touristic gifts! Recommended! Thanks for being helpful!
Very helpful young lady lots of knowledge
If you in Thames I recommend this place to have a look. Perfect view and good for tourism.
