Wonderful staff and all the pies and cakes up front makes you drool. However, the chocolate cake I’ve ordered was ... disappointing. It was on a dry side (maybe because it was sitting there for too long), the icing just tasted like fondant. It wasn’t a dense cake or a light fluffy cake, just average tasting. I’ll probably come back for the other dessert, but a slice for 12.5 was honestly not worth it.

The foxton fizz and the chicken bacon waffles are to die for. I love the meaty mac n cheese, and all the donuts are mouth watering. I love stopping in here everytime I visit krd.

They have wonderful staff, make you feel welcomed every time. Their Cherry pie is too die for! Right amount of sourness and sweetness with a hint of bitter almond. Their other stuff is also fair and good but excessively sweet for my taste. My go to place whenever I crave for a pie!

Living overseas, I had donuts delivered as a gift for a loved one. Feedback was that all the flavours sent were "SOO good and intricate"! My 5 star review also comes from the fact that a staff member directly emailed me to thank me for my purchase. Customer service is above amazing despite times being really weird right now. Delightful donuts service! Can't wait to try these myself once borders open up!

Such an awesome ordering experience! On Thursday night we realized that we needed to order a surprise morning tea for our team in Auckland. Since we couldn't send a cake to the Auckland office for them, due to Auckland being in Level 3 (and all of the staff now working from their individual homes), we began reaching out to a bunch of bakeries to see who could help us. The Pie Piper and Doornuts Donuts was the only bakery with reasonable pricing, beautiful looking donuts, and could still add our last-minute order in for delivery the next morning. They rushed the order and got it delivered to all of our team's homes before our 10 AM morning tea. The Auckland staff were ecstatic! And we were able to pay via credit card online. We will absolutely use this bakery again -- they were exceptionally understanding and helpful, and I hear the donuts were delicious! Thank you again!

Wasn’t super impressed by the donuts, but they certainly were not bad. Flavors are interesting, but the donut itself was a little dry and the banana cream was very artificial tasting. Staff was very friendly and they offer bottomless filter coffee, a hard treat to come by in New Zealand. The cheesecakes looked really nice, although we did not try them. Pricing is pretty expensive (5/donut). Prolly won’t visit this place regularly, but not upset that I went.
