Credit where it is due, the food was tasty. But considering the price we expected better portion sizes. I got the blat and the plate was half hot chips and what looked like half of my sandwich. I would've preferred more sandwich and less chips. My partner got the big breakfast but again wasn't very big. The menu said there was kranksky sausages which by reputation are a medium size but these were very small.

The place: it felt a little bit lost. An atmosphere not welcoming to stay. Its the room not the people. The food: I had no food. The Coffee: I had a long black and it was by far not the best one I had - quite the opposite. The staff was friendly.
Best Cafe I have found in ages.
Visiting Rotorua and not needing to fight our way through the 'eating quarter', we opted for this cafe with its view of the lake. Despite being quite late for lunch we were greeted warmly, and our orders were delivered swiftly. Excellent food and coffee. Everything you want from a cafe.Great food, amazing service.
Came here with my wife to try out the all day breakfast. I was really disappointed because the food is not that good compared to other cafes in Rotorua. My wife had the cabinet food which tasted a lot better than the hot food cooked. Coffee is average. Ambience outside is nice but inside it is poorly designed. Staff are not smiling and looked like they are tired of their jobs. Sorry but I am not coming back again.
Good food. Welcoming staff. Heaps of space. Fast order delivery. Good prices. Relaxing atmosphere where the feel of rush disappears. My favourite cafe in Rotorua.
First time here and it was a very nice dining experience. Good service, helpful ,friendly staff and nice food. We were here from Wellington to celebrate a friend's 80th birthday.
Not a bad place to eat. Not much to look at from the outside but provides views of the lake indoors and a small amount of seating outdoors. Comfortable seating, good food choices and average prices. If you're in a hurry and requiring take out, probably advise against it. Your order is placed in a queue like you would dining in, and there is a bit of a wait but what do you expect from such a popular hang out!
