I can highly recommend the flight school !! I have started my PPL in July 2020 and finished it in January 2021. These guys where very flexible and easy going. I felt not under pressure while doing all the lessons but still got pushed enough to give my best and have an awesome experience and quality training. Their contact to some of the best instructors of New Zealand is also a big Their plane (Pipstrel Alpha Trainer) is very modern and due to the lightweight cheap to run which gives you cost effective flight lessons. You won't find a cheaper flight school in New Zealand. The lessons itself are well structured and I didn't have the feeling to spent too many hours. If I wanted to go for an easy flight, we always made sure that I'll learn something from it. No time wasted Thanks TieUpp! I'll definitely choose you again for my next training!!

I am currently learning to fly with these guys. It has always been a goal of mine to fly and it will be made possible because of Tie-Upp Aviation. Lessons are well structured, I believe their main aim is to improve you as a pilot each and every lesson. Rodney & Benjamin are knowledgeable people and always happy to help. Got an introductory lesson as a gift and had a great experience. Beautiful views over the mountains, and I was in control 90% of the time. Good instruction and communication. Service was excellent. We had to reschedule a couple of times thanks to to weather conditions and covid, but communication was always prompt. They picked up from the centre of Rangiora, too, which was handy as I took the bus. TieUpp use a modern light sport aircraft that you won’t find elsewhere, and a budget-flexible programme for continuing to learn. They’ve put a lot of thought into doing things differently, and I would recommend anyone curious to give it a go.

It was a great start to my flying career, even though I'm only 12 I got to fly a plane. The instructed is very nice and his co owner is very nice too. It is quite inexpensive. I would highly recommend this if you have a passion for flying planes. Can't wait to come again. Loved it. :-D
