This is one of our all time favorite bakeries!! Friendly staff busy bakery! Delicious food and hot cross buns. Coffee was a bit average but I go to a Cafe usually for coffee! Definitely will be back.

Hungry? Peckish? Maybe even esurient? If you want to eat the best sausage rolls in Timaru you have to go to U Bake out at Washdyke. This tiny bakery, tucked away on SH1 just along from the Caltex gas station, not only does the best sausage rolls in South Canterbury but also has a tempting selection of pies, cakes, breads and filled rolls. Try a mini doughnut filled with custard, jam or caramel. And don’t forget to grab a packet of their delicious seed cake sticks. Mmmmm…salty.

Wow, what a great bakery. They've got donuts, sandwiches, pies, cake, authentic bagels, fresh bread and much more. A good place to stop if you don't know what you are looking for (to eat).
