Cheap and cheerful. Right on water's edge. Take 50cent coins for showers

Very cute and quaint campground. If you like the quiet, you will love it here! There is ample seafood catching spots walking distance from both ends of the campsite and it has a beautiful backdrop of the Komiti Bay, and the Kaipara Harbour.

Great fishing location. Yes facilities are abit old but if you just want peace and quiet and are stocked up this site is a must.

Nice campground with moderate facilities, including basic kitchen and hot showers at 1 which last reasonably long...easy access to the water by boat or kayak only at high tide. The camp periphery was littered with rubbish, and would benefit from a cleanup. Would recommend staying here.

A brilliant we camp ground & most pleased we came in for a 3 day stay. Hosts are very friendly & make you more that welcome. It is Kiwiana @ its best with good showers & toilets.

Basic camping with mainly caravans which blocks the water edge a bit. Tent only space would have been nice as the big caravans always park across the view which is a little selfish I think, and makes it impossible for a little tent to relax by the waterfront. But otherwise, the owner of the campsite was great and super friendly, and gave some bait to help catch a fish at the fantastic wharf nearby. Good snapper off wharf. Amenities are basic, and the nearest shops are 30 mins, so quite isolated. Nice spot to feel the nature and old fashioned way going camping.
