Good for kids
A grunty track which will reward you with breathtaking views of Wellington as you climb higher and higher. The surface is rugged and loose so footwear with decent grip is recommended. Would give 5 stars if it wasn't for all the garbage which is blown onto the track from the adjoining rubbish tip.

Right up on the suffer meter for biking & running training. Do laps if you like. Great in winter. Fantastic views.
Amazing views of Wellington & all the surrounding peaks & water. Be prepared for the wind, but it's a great part of Wellington!
One of our go to walks. Incredible views over Wellington and, on a clear day, the South Island. Pretty consistent climb up to get your heart pumping. Only downside is the short passage past the tip which means on a windy day bits of rubbish blowing past, but it’s called the tip track... so what do you expect!
Nice clear path that leads to lots of other great tracks. Shared walking and mountain biking tracks
A bit too steep to run the first bit but a fantastic outing ending up at red rocks. Choose a windless day as its very open to the elements.
One of my favourite walks in Wellington
Nice walk up there and a good view down the Shouth Island.
