We ordered blue cod and chips on Saturday evening. We have always had a full fillet of blue cod in the past from the previous shop owners. However, on opening our meals there was only 1/4 of a fillet cost 8.10. We were very disappointed. We're not likely to return again. Having said this the meal was cooked to a good standard. There are many places in town where we can be served a full fillet of blue cod for the same price.

Nicely cooked Blue Cod and Chips. Cost 8.20 for very small piece of fish and 2.50 for the Chips. Sadly. Definitely not Blue Cod. Rip off. Had actually heard a rumour about Blue Cod being substituted with other species possibly Elephant Fish, now it’s confirmed for my self. Last time I’ll go there! Response to owner. It was definitely NOT Blue Cod. You can’t substitute any other fish for Blue Cod. (I was merely suggesting Elephant fish not saying it was). Definitely not thick piece either. You must be the only Takeaway measuring their pieces of fish by weight. If so what is the weight of one piece of Blue Cod?
