We camped here for a night. Caught salmon and ate there. The owner and employees were so kind and helpful! Helped us caught the salmon. An amazing concept. My kids were amazed and it was good for them to learn where food comes from. Their playground is (according to my 3 yr old: the bomb!) Kids loved playing in the playhouse. The field where we were camping was nice with sheep and tame peacock and turkey. Restaurant had nice snacks and we loved the smoked salmon very much.

Reasonably priced salmon based meals which were delicious. Perfect eel feeding platform with plenty of vigorous eels. Open area to pet cute little piglets. Didn't do the salmon fishing but looked like fun. Low key spot not overly commercialised

Off you've never experienced a tame eel this is a good place to do so. Beautiful surroundings and attached to Anatoki Salmon Farm this is a great way to end a visit. Totally fascinating animals.

So a bit disappointed in this visit. We were driving along the road and saw the tame eels signs and decided to visit. First off, we parked the car and then headed to the left to see the eels (which is why we headed there). We walked passed a closed eel shop / cafe and It wasn't until we got to the gate near the river that it suggested that the eels where hibernating! However the signage was a bit small to read. It would have been nice to have seen a notice at the entrance. We then headed over to the salmon ponds. Interesting to see the breeding / growing ponds and then the large fishing ponds. Plenty of people out fishing for their lunch, which is a neat idea. Which you could then have cooked onsite. The children's play area felt run down, with the water play area not working. It would have been nice to have seen more signage at the entrance to say the tame eels where hibernating - but a good visit if you feel like catching and eating some salmon.

Cool for young kids but the farm seems sad and run down (needs a pick me up). The animals could use more room it looked like.
