This places looks amazing and here are the photos, just across the road. Awesome beach and pet / dog friendly. I didn't stay here but beach is across the road. Would definitely stay here on our next trip. 5 mins drive to Waihau cafe and bar. Fuel station at Waihau but only fuel is 91 and diesel. No 95 or 98 available. This is located about 120km from Opotiki or 60km from Te Araroa.
