Booked a paid for a property for 6 people but was told late evening that it was now unavailable. They were apologetic and offered to find alternative solutions in the morning but we were arriving in the morning so that didn't work. They did work hard trying to find us somewhere to stay that night. In the end only one property was available but it was not suitable for us. We ended up booking through airbnb after we had arrived at Waiheke with nowhere to stay (900 dollars on transfer fares so we were going to take the chance!). Needless to stay, it was the worst experience I've had with booking for Waiheke.
