We are a long established Health Centre in Waikanae and provide quality health care to over 11,000 patients including five large Retirement facilities in Waikanae and the surrounding area. In addition to regular General Practice, we provide many specialist services. We are pleased to be able to provide Occupational Health services for companies in the local area. At the south end of the Health Centre is the Waikanae Specialist Medical Centre where visiting Specialists from Wellington and the Hutt Valley hold clinics on a regular basis. AFTERHOURS Afterhours Telephone 04 293.6005. When Waikanae Health is closed your call will be forwarded to a Triage Nurse who will be able to offer advice and if necessary contact the after-hours doctor on call. A Doctor is available on call until 10pm each night. EMERGENCIES Emergencies Telephone us directly on 04 293.6002 at any time. This line is answered promptly during surgery and after hours and will connect you to the medical staff on call. The doctors are able to deal with accidents, trauma and medical emergencies.
