Also known as Dicky Flat, this spot is a must. Fun little 20min walk over swing bridges and through a cave tunnel. If you can, swim/climb upstream a little to find some beautiful more secluded spots for swimming and taking in the nature.

Wonderful swimming hole with waterfall coming directly out of shaft in mountain. Another shaft you can walkthrough takes you to Dickey Flat campground. Note: This falls is also listed on Google Maps as Dickey Flat Falls (they are same, however I believe this name to be the correct one).

This has to be the best waterfalls and water holes to swim in. With three fun waterfalls and two big water holes to play in, a big high rock to jump off there was plenty of fun for all the 30 people and dog enjoying this beautiful natural fresh water playground when I came upon it. Dickey Flat waterhole and waterfalls can be accessed from the Karangahakei Gorge Windows Walk track (approx 1 hour walk) or the Dickey’s Flat Campground track (30 minutes) bring torch to be able to see because you walk through tunnels to get there. Also lots of swing bridges fun, fun, best fun!
