Very Informative and convenient too...

An impressive structure considering the engineering and logistics required to build it back then. Will be good when rebuild is complete and we can walk over it.

Amazing feat of wooden construction, lovely place to visit for the scenery, birdlife and atmosphere

Worth a look. Has been modified and revised a number of times over the years. The track would be considerably longer if you couldn't cross this gully over the viaduct.

Soon to be declared safe to use again after some years of being closed. If you have the time, head down the bypass track and check out this magnificent structure from directly underneath. This truly is a gem in this region and well worth the walk to get there. One option to view this viaduct and some of the others, is to fly to Percy Burn and then overnight at Port Craig Hut. The following day walk out to Rarakau where your vehicle was left (fly with Dale Green/HeliMyWay).
