What a lovely surprise find! We wanted to pick up a takeaway curry, last minute decision on dinner, while heading toward Waiuku. This place popped up on good old google, and wow! We can only vouch for the lamb korma and chicken tikka so far (our usual go-to), but they were sensational. All the right layers of flavour in all the right places. The popadoms that were given to us were a special treat - thank you. The service was lovely, with lots of smiles. We will be back. This might have become our favourite curry place in Franklin. We may even stay and dine in next time.

Helpful staff, well cooked food and tasty. The location is a bit unusual, being next door to a gas station, and it isn't clear where one should park. They do both takeaways and dine-in, and the premises looked clean and very presentable. They have an "A" council rating.

I moved here a few months ago & Indian Bistro has the Best Butter Chicken & Nan in Waiuku... Cooked fresh while you wait... Bright Orange Colour & Flavour is beautiful... I am Maori & I love my kai... honestly people Indian Bistro, 35 Kitchener Road is the place to go...

Seriously, consistently good food. Sooo look forward to curry night. The Tudka is amazing, and the rest of the food is pretty good too. Garlic loaded naan, best onion bhaji, tender meat, and decent portion sizes. Repeat business here.
