Great Japanese restaurant, friendly staff and wonderful owner who served us authentic sashimi dinner. Very reasonable price, 28 for 12 piece of very fresh sashimi. I will come back anytime for another great meal.
We had lunch there, ordered the Teriyaki Bento box. The Miso soup and all the food are very authentic. The restaurant manager was super polite and warm. We will definite go back again.

4 members of our family had an excellent meal at Sasanoki Restaurant in Wanaka this evening. The service and meal were very well presented and the food was excellent.
If you are up for something Asian, this is quite ok. It was just under 20NZD per person for us.
Awful. Had no flavour and I think they used oxo stock cubes to make the stock. Katsu curry had no Katsu sauce and Udon was completely flavourless. Go to Fudog.
