Rach and the team made our wedding so special! They were full of great ideas and suggestions and went above and beyond to make sure the finished product worked with every other facet of our big day. Her team were relaxed and punctual and worked efficiently in the short time frame we gave them. I would recommend The green room for any event and can also vouch for their in shop bouquets. They have saved me a number of times!

High quality flowers/plants and great advice
Ordered flowers for 90 bundle and didn’t get what I’ve paid for, just lots of GREEN LEAFS. I think your website photos are very misleading so I would recommend changing it.... Sorry, but it was very disappointing and the email respond I’ve received back. I’m all about supporting the locals but definitely won’t be recommending or using them again.
We got married in New Zealand, expecting to find a nice place in Wanaka, so when I was looking for a cake and flower crown, I found this place for floral (and another wonderful place for the cake) both in Wanaka. We ended up getting married in Glenorchy, about 3 hrs away So we had to pick up our orders the night before. The quality of the flower crown I received, after sending many pictures of what I was looking for, (but was honestly open to creativity, mostly focused on keeping the deep red, either light pink or white and some greenery) - what I received was absolutely beautiful. We were all really stunned by how gorgeous the piece was. Choosing to elope, I knew I wasn’t looking for crazy floral arrangements, I didn’t want a bouquet, and chose to pick something a little more personal, due to my Polynesian background, and honestly they are just very pretty and slightly eccentric. I didn’t want to spend a lot of time holding something in my hand(s), or making someone else hold it for me. The flower crown was a beautiful addition to such a wonderful day. For the most part, this company was very quick and attentive to communication, which was necessity for me being that I’m from the states. The ONE and ONLY critical aspect would be the lack of communication when it came to pick up, but I honestly chalk that up to the 3hr distance, having to pick up the NIGHT before, and it being probably a little impractical. But letting me know the box was outside would have been a little easier on both of us, I’d say. Regardless, wonderful communication, beautiful arrangement, and I would 100% recommend! Rachel at The Green Room did all the florals for our wedding last month. The whole process was so easy! Rachel helped us setup a mood board and where we put down ideas for the flower palette that we liked. On the wedding day The Green Room team rocked up and went to work! Could not be more happy with everything they did. Clearly very very experienced with weddings and events and overall their work really made it all come together. We had an arbour at the top of a hill for our ceremony, what a cool idea. Will definitely be recommending The Green Room to all our friends and family for upcoming weddings! We also popped into the shop in Wanaka and had a good look, great setup!
I recently got married in Wanaka and Rachel from Green Room supplied the flowers and did such an amazing job! They looked absolutely beautiful and the colours were exactly like I envisaged. The flower crowns for our wee flowergirls were a definite highlight. Rachel was so great to deal with, nothing was a problem! If you’re looking for florist with flair and attention to detail in Wanaka, I’d definitely recommend the team at Green Room.
