Was busy so a little bit of a wait but well worth it. Amazingly cooked ribs. Bone just slid out. Our whole table enjoyed their meals. Good size. Nice and fresh very quick from service station to table. Definitely recommend
We had an hour wait for food as we were told about upon entry. Completely worth the wait the waitress was a darling with my grandparents.
Wow, just wow. Breakfast was amazing and a massive meal at a reasonable price. The staff were all amazing and bent over backwards, nothing was a problem. Will 100% be back
We always eat here on our trips to Wanaka the Staff are friendly and happy to help, meals are always really tasty and delicious.
Went for dinner Fish and chips very fresh Beef check gnocchi delicious Went again for beers in the sun on our final day here. Lunch was Ceaser Salad well mixed and heaps of chicken, bacon and home made croutons. Perhaps best I’ve had! Good chef here!
My review is purely based on good quality. I have ordered the open fish pie, my wife the scallops. My fish pie has fish, salmon, and prawns. Completely tastless, only thing that I could taste was the freezer. Same thing with wife's dish. Scallops were rubbery and tasted frozen. Kids has prawn dish and a seasoned vegetable salad. The salad was OK, however, we all left with unfinished dishes, we just couldn't bare to finish our meals which was quite sad. Hope you guys can use fresh going forward. Atmosphere was nice, waitresses were welcoming and friendly.
Went for dinner with the family on a Friday night while visiting Wanaka for the day. Service was good, attentive enough without being overbearing. Food on the other hand was less than average. My husband had the fish pie which was a mix of frozen white fish, salmon and prawns cooked in a what looked like a mush and, apart from the rubbery texture, had close to no flavor. The "pie" topping came in a form of a filo party pocket, like the one you can get in any supermarket frozen section. It was just placed on the side of the dish. I, myself, had the scallops, which ofcourse were also frozen and very very rubbery. The corn pure they came on tasted like canned corn that has been put through a blender. Our daughter had the prawns, you already know where I am going with this, frozen, rubbery, and served on a bowl of unflavored white rice. I don't know who their "chef" is, but they need to seriously take another look at what is coming out of the kitchen. Overall disappointing and we definitely will not be back.
