Definitely would not stay here again or recommend to anyone else. Very over priced for what you get. No sink in kitchenette, only one power point in unit, no sky TV, bed was so rocky I nearly fell out in the middle of night, no security stays on windows, so couldn't get any fresh air, no smoke alarms in unit and it was so noisy, very close to state highway one.
Room was ok, but was not a great night sleep. Beds weren't great, cheap ones with minimal support. Big problem was noise and light. Close to SH1, so lots of road noise in our unit. We were in upstairs units but other units maybe better located to avoid the noise. However, lots of outside noise with ppl shouting and could hear tv next door most of night so not great sound insulation. Other issue is a light on outside the door which put a lot of light into the room. Tried to cover door with towel but wasnt really successful. Really need a curtain if the light is staying on all night.
No blinds so had to put a sleeping bag and a blanket over the curtains to give privacy. I ended up killing 3x cockroaches before bed. 2 on the wall and one fell on me from the ceiling. For the price, it was disgraceful. Do not sleep here. This is my 1st and last time.
After first having the wrong day booked by staff and having a difficult time remedying this, we arrived to find the room VERY sub par. The room was musty and had cigarette burns on the duvet along with other stains on both the duvet and mattress. The floor was slimy in the bathroom area, and to top things off, we located a cockroach crawling on the bathroom roof above my head as I was getting out of the shower. Mention of this to staff came with a unpleasant response and no sort of compensation was offered. We did not end up sleeping in the room due to the standard of hygiene.
Pretty good considering the situation had to book very last minute. Good truck parking out side motel
Walton park motor lodge is an over priced B class motel. There was a light outside your front door that shines right through the door and is on all night so you cant sleep. Had to put a towel up, but didn't work very well, No milk is offered or told that they dont supply any for coffees, and kids riding there plastic bike up and down the deck, so no peace. Never again. Would you pay 150.00 for a night like that?
No soap in dispenser of shower, bedside lamp didn't go. We pulled the sofa bed out so one of us could sleep on it and it was filthy and sagged so much that we would have been crippled the next morning. Was a hot night and the fan didn't do much. Very expensive for what you supply.
