A great little cafe on the terrace to visit for a time out from the work stresses. Certainly worth visiting for their scone and coffee deal, and I certainly recommend their hand made steak and cheese pies. The soup specials are also with checking out. Staff are very welcoming and efficient in service. Decor is simplistic with a very calming feeling. The outdoor tables are ideal for watching the world go by as you gather your thoughts.

A lovely, sunny little cafe with a great menu and an excellent selection of cabinet food and good coffee. Van and her staff are very warm and welcoming. We always pop in when we’re in Wellington. We had a bowl of nourishing tasty pumpkin soup and a freshly baked, delicious apricot muesli slice. Highly recommended.

Where do I begin !! I love walking into Cafe joy and Van welcomes me , as her other customers with a warm smile.My favourite part is knowing she is there really because she is passionate and treats her staff with much respect and love. The staff are extremely friendly as well.Food is affordable and I have never had better Americano with cream(often in my experience its easy to burn and can taste horibble if done wrong)it's the perfect little coffee shop that has good coffee, good food .I also love their hash browns.it's just mouth watering because it has cheese.HASH BROWNS WITH CHEESE !!! YAASS ! I catch myself popping in on my breaks to ponder my thoughts and the odd occasion I indulge in a cigarette , the outdoor area accommodates it.once again , It's a perfect little cafe and it brings me joy. Would give a million stars if I could
I recommend the lamb salad. Seared meat, feta, walnuts, leafy greens with a sparing amount of yummy dressing.
