Dishonest advertising of their fare. Pre booked link of 25 from Wellington CBD to airport...does not exist! It jumps up to 40 when you try and confirm booking. Found an honest fare elsewhere.

Happy with our service. Driver was friendly and arrived on time, as organised. Only downsides were that the online booking system made us pay 31.50 instead of the 25 CBD to airport deal, and we didn't receive any email/text confirmation for the booking.

I booked online through their online booking form and got a good deal to Paraparaumu. It was much cheaper than the taxi I got with Combined Taxis the week before. Booking went smoothly and the driver was on time. So all in all I was very happy with their service.

AVOID! Booked a taxi to collect my friend from Wellington airport later that same day. All booked through online system ok and took payment. Later a text was sent to me friend to tell him they had cancelled a booking. He got in an airport taxi (which I normally assume will be much more expensive) but was actually 10 cheaper than capital taxis! STILL waiting for a refund for the taxi that never showed up. Wish I had read the reviews before booking. DO NOT BOOK WOTH THIS COMPANY!!!

Terrible company. Driver was supposed to pick me up and take me to the airport but was 1 hour away. I would have missed my flight if I hadn't found another taxi company last minute. They were going to process my refund but a week later still haven't done this. Still waiting. Avoid at all costs.

I booked and paid online and the fares were much cheaper than the other companies. Their online system gave me a set price and a map of the route that would be taken on the trip. We I was picked up we were caught in traffic but because the fare was already prepaid I did not have to pay anything extra for traffic congestion which should be standard for all Transport. Thank you Capital Taxis for a great service.

Confirmed my pick up a week before we flew and received quite an abrupt email in reply. Arrived at Wellington airport at 1 am to no taxi and no one at their office until 3 am. Apparently the return trip was not entered into their system. This makes me wonder what they confirmed beforehand. I have been refunded but it left a sour taste after a long journey home.

DO NOT RISK IT BY CALLING THIS ILLEGAL COMPANY FOR A TAXI. Horrible company. Not to mention that we complained to the manager about driver trying to say we cut “deals” and asked us to overpay. Disgusting. I just complained to the commerce commission to investigate this horrible business. When we tried to call the company to complain about the driver, the manager told us to f*** off. You can’t get away with it forever, it’s time you learn how a real business works.
