Red rabbit coffee, aka the best coffee (oat flat white) made perfectly. Smaller menu but decent portions. The whole table enjoyed every last bit of it. Thanks Goldmine!

I remember reading the Stuff news article about the new owners at Goldmine. It sounded promising. Then the article about how the burst sewage pipe impacted their business last year. So these prompts to find out for myself and support a local business seemed a no brainer. Wasn't disappointed. The friendly and warm greeting from the dude behind the counter bode well. The coffee was great. Nice touch was sparkling water for the table. And the Eggs Benedict was simply superb. The poached eggs were freshly made, the garnishing of baby rocket was a solid touch and the pan fried asparagus took this dish into the category of being the best eggs bennie I have ever tasted! I'll be back....

Tried the trust-the-chef dinner and was one of the best meals we have had in ages. The sashimi had an excellent combinations of flavours, and the steak in the main was cooked perfectly with complementary sides. Our friend who doesn't like mushrooms even enjoyed the field mushrooms, and refused to give them to their partner! Would recommend and definitely go again.

Amazing coffee! Great brunch offerings with a twist. Service is a touch laid back but no less competent then their direct competitors who will definitely feel the pressure to step up their game! Go here for the smoothest flatties which make you weep like baby Jesus touched your soul. The French Toast with Infused Maple was off the charts!
