The worst backpacker I've ever been. Everything is dirty and the dorms don't have any window...

This hostel was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. We made a reservation for a double room and they put us in another room, the room had no window and I am claustrophobic, I asked for a fan and they did not have it and they were not willing to help me. I am a simple person I don't mind where I sleep but this hotel was super dirty, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Worst place to stay, it's not even that cheap. If you can avoid it I advise you to find another place
Booked into a private room with my boyfriend, it was very basic and no window making it very cell like. The toilets were disgusting, all the sanitary bins overflowing and bugs in the shower. One sink was broken and so was the soap dispenser. Anything you wanted to use in the kitchen needed washing first and it didn't looked like it got cleaned very regularly. Was meant to move into private room myself later in the week however have cancelled to go elsewhere and would recommend anyone else planning to stay here cancel and find somewhere else.
Not so great stay really. Just boring. The beds were some of the worst. The toilets are definitely the worst I have ever been. Location is good. Staff are friendly. Its quiet cheap to stay here but I don't like this place personally. I would prefer to avoid staying here again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Wow, the worst hostel of Wellington deserves it's nickname. The floor of my room was full of rice ?! The ventilation was poor (Barely existent) so the floor was smelly and the hostel looked like a prison. Only one toilet for the whole floor (Understand at least 50 peoples) so most peoples pee in the showers. At least, the receptionist was friendly.
Almost didn't get the room I booked and heard someone else had the same problem except there were no single rooms available. One bed had broken parts to it. Room had no windows that could open onto street, which meant the sun heated up the room to uncomfortable temperatures and there was no way of cooling it down. The entrance to the building is not inviting and not tidy. Ending on a positive: location is fantastic and central. Had no problems with keys.
Get earplugs and cover your eyes when u sleep. But all in all aight experience. Oh and when you book remember to ask them for a room with a window. You definitely don't wanna be without
The cleanliness of a public bathroom meets the joyful atmosphere of a funeral. Even though I got a window room it was pointless as they don't open, which means the entire place has no fresh air. It was also stupidly hot. The bathrooms genuinely were more dirty than some public bathrooms despite them apparently having cleaners. The blue shower curtains have a brown band of grime at the bottom. The staff were nice, but unfortunately that's the only good thing about the place.
