Really nice art house cinema, great prices on a Monday! Warm vibe and it radiates a love of film. I went to see Amundsen and highly enjoyed it, a very good film, contrary to what the rotten tomatoes score suggests. Sometimes you have to go see and experience the film for yourself, in local cinemas, not just believe what critics say about it. And the cinema experience is still better than the netflix one

Friendly staff and comfortable theatre
Local small chain cinema - 3 screens. Main releases as well as art house and small run festivals. Comfy sofas. Cafe bar in foyer. Plays NT Live and Opera when available. Very handy to walk to from anywhere in central Wellington
Fantastic cinema with friendly accommodating staff. Yummy choc tops and lovely atmosphere. Comfy chairs too. Recommended!
Very nice cinema. The seats are like couches /mini sofas. The movie theatre is nice and cozy. For senior citizens every Wednesday it's free coffee and 11.50 tickets. Very enjoyable little place. Loved the experience !
Easily my favourite cinema in the city. Two seater couches and you can bring your wine glass or coffee from the cafe into the cinema. Each theatre is quite small. The beautiful NZ birds cut out on the cinema lights help create a peaceful ambiance before the movie starts.
All the Lighthouse Conemas have their own ambience. Comfy seating. All you need for a nibble, sweets, coffee, ice creams and of course, The Movies!
Just walked out of Shadow in the Cloud.... the only movie I've walked out of. A movie so absolutely banal, they should be embarrassed ever to have shown it, let alone asked money for it. -1 stars would be appropriate.
