I love Micheal Hill but I can't go store cause they keep trying to sell me something and pressure so instead of feeling relax and shop i feel pressure and get out. Regardless I say I would like to browse , they keep showing me products that doesn't even match my liking.also until you pay they are very very nice BUT once you paid and you got a problem there is no way they will be same ..shame.

Teenage daughter went in here, came out traumatized! Asked to see some chains, had one almost immediately wrapped up and charged : when she said it was outside her budget, the woman told her to check her bank account and see how much she had, adding that if she loved someone she'd buy it! Sales Bully !

I was served by a young woman whose name I didn't catch unfortunately, but she was incredibly helpful and friendly and advised me where I could find a great burger as well as selling me two pairs of earrings. A very pleasant experience, I would happily go back next time I'm in Wellington!

Didn’t quite find the ring we were after in the range at MHJ Lambton Quay but the manager Harry was incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly. Gave us a lot of knowledge and tips of things to look out for.

I have purchased quite a few items from Michael Hill over the years and have never experienced anything like this before. I was looking in the window from outside along Lambton Quay and was approached by a MH sales person, I then went into the store, they followed me around the store, kept offering to show me the sales, what are you looking for, can I help you with anything, can I show this, can I show you that, telling me what type of metal would suit me, asked if I want my ring cleaned, was I a tourist, was I going to the rugby etc etc etc, it was full on, not just a nice friendly chat - I felt very uncomfortable (which she obviously did not pick up on) and bid a very hasty retreat.
