We provide: - Advice on increasing the opportunities for women to gain economic independence and contribute to the workforce to the full extent of their skills and abilities. - Technical expertise and information in the area of women in leadership, including a nominations service for women on state sector boards and committees. - Advice for government agencies on how to ensure policies recognise the impacts of violence against women in New Zealand and work towards greater safety in the future. - Reports on the status of New Zealand women to international bodies and organisations.
